Message i.e. Do you perform the test with the OEM 2" piping or with the 2.5" piping? The inlet/outlet pipes on these ICs are larger than all the others so it makes for a very elaborate test.

The one thing I am finding comfort in is the idea that as horsepower demands increase, so does the performance of each individual part of the system. On a car making some 600+ RWHP, you have to ask yourself somewhere along the line, "How much is the stock 2" piping holding us back?". Additionally, how much is the smaller intercooler hurting our performance?

Hard questions to answer without any quantitative information at the moment, but I do find it hard to believe that we would be detrimenting the system. For the function and nature of an intercooler, with increasing demands it only logically follows that a larger unit with more cooling capacity would be of an advantage over a smaller unit. I'm still not past the water-air intercooler setup either. :)
